Industry: Aluminium

Pneumatic conveying of aluminum oxider and other dry bulk raw materials. Installations work in pressure and vacuum mode and are stationary or portable (e.g. barges and gantry type ship unloaders). Capability in pneumatic conveying system design.

Blower (1000 mbar / 14.5 psig) are used extensively.


Industry: Cement

Pneumatic conveying of raw meal, cement, kiln dust, limestone, coal powder. Installations work in pressure and vacuum mode and are stationary or portable (e.g. barges). Capability in pneumatic conveying system design.

Power Generation :

Many cement plants generate their own coal-fired power plant. The blowers are used for coal dust and fly-ash conveying and pollution control flue gas desulphurization processes (oxidation).



Industry: Environmental

Wastewater treatment
Municipal raw sewage or industrial organic waste such as food products are aerated to feed microorganisms with the dissolved oxygen necessary to digest waste byproducts. Fine, coarse and membrane filtration technologies bubble aeration systems. Blowers are also used for filter flushing, grit tank cleaning, backwash operations, and gas recovery. Oil-free compressors are ideal for deep cell aeration system to supply air at pressures up to 1 bar. Positive displacement Blowerpermitst energy optimization under variable flow conditions by means of variable frequency drives (VFDs). Typical speed turndown of 3:1 is possible, temperature permitting.

Bio-gas recovery and re-circulation
The gas composed primarily of methane but containing traces of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is also known as digester gas and landfill gas. It is produced through the natural breakdown of organic material or accelerated breakdown in waste water treatment plants. The gas is either flared to reduce pollution, re-circulated within a process, or used as a fuel to power generators and other internal combustion engine driven machines. This gas is both explosive and corrosive – TMVT has supplied many biogas blower.

Soil hydrocarbon and solvent vapor extraction
The extraction takes place for soil remediation purposes. Pressure or a combined of pressure and vacuum machines are used to draw air through the contaminated area to evaporate Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) which are carried into the air-stream for recovery or immediate disposal. Hydrocarbons may include petroleum products and industrial solvents accidentally spilled from tank vehicles or leaked from fuel storage tanks.

Industry: Food, Beverage, and Pharmaceutical

TMVT oil free Blowers are used to supply 100% oil-free air to various food (beverage, meat packing, poultry, etc.) and pharmaceutical processes.

Principal application is pneumatic conveying in both vacuum and pressure modes to handle the transfer of dry bulk materials such as flour, salt, sugar, grain, spices, chocolate and milk powder, and other natural and man-made food processing dry materials used in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Materials are transferred to and from railcars, silos, hoppers, and other bulk transfer components.

Blowers are used to conveying, boost and compress a myriad of inert, corrosive, and explosive gases found in chemical plants and refineries.

Gases include nitrogen, hydrogen, natural gas, flare and vent gas, chlorine gas and various hydrocarbon combinations to name only a few. Hydrocarbons and contaminated gases such as flare and coke oven gas require blower and special purpose oil-free compressors. Blowers are used in regenerative drying systems.
